Contact me if you would like to have your book reviewed. The main goal here at Behind the Rows is to promote books and authors through reviews, interviews, guest posts, and giveaways. If you have a book (or ebook format for the nook or ARC) please contact me at the email address below.
I review almost any type of book. If I feel like your story is not going to be a good fit for my blog I will try to find you another reviewer or offer that the book goes up on a giveaway with a special guest post with the author.
I also offer the review to be posted on other websites including:
- Goodreads
- librarything
- amazon
- Barnes and Noble
- shelfari
You are also permitted to post the review on other websites or your own personal page as long as credit is given with a link back to the original on this blog.
Your review will also include:
- Cover art
- format
- genre
- 5 star rating
- ISBN number
- publishing information
- any links to authors website, publishers website, purchase site
- my honest opinion on the book
When asking for a review please keep in mind that I am a non-biased opinion who is a complete stranger and not your mother. I will not compromise my site by lying about a book I didn't like. I will also not post a harmful review and instead offer other alternatives such as guest posts, giveaways, or author interviews. I rarely run into this problem.
I will also promote your book through many social networking sites such as facebook, twitter, tumblr, google+ and other blogs.
I will not pay for a publication asking for a review. Publications are given to me for the purpose of a review and will not be returned. I will not take payment for a review... ever. It will also be stated in the review that the publication was received free of charge. If the book was not offered up in a giveaway, I will most likely send it overseas to one of the soldiers I have "adopted." Any extra publications offered for that cause would be greatly appreciated and sent in a timely manner.
A review does not happen overnight! Please keep in mind that you may be several down the line and I will get to it ASAP. I like to have reviews ready within two weeks. You will get a copy of the review before it is posted and the option to have it posted at a future date. If I have not heard from you within 24 hours of the first email I will post the review whenever I see fit.
