2/5 stars
I think I need to start this review by justifying why I gave it two stars.  First of all, how cool is that cover? Kudos for that.  Secondly, it was free.  I love free reading.
I fell right into this book as far as story plot went for the first few chapters.  I think it lost me a little bit when I realized there wasn't much effort put into editing.  Nothing bothers me more than a printed book that looks brilliant only to have errors littering the pages.
Progression of the story was also lacking in my opinion.  I could have skipped a few chapters and been okay.
Ok, so the book has fairy, vampire, witches, demons, a post-apocalyptic world, romance, fighting.... see where I'm going yet?  It had it all. Maybe too much?  I felt like I was being shifted around too much to enjoy the story for what it was, and I'm not quite sure exactly what that was.
I think that a much younger audience would love this book.  This seems like the right kind of story that they are currently eating up right now, I just wasn't one of them.
I'm not going to give up on this author because I think after a little bit of time, possibly maturity, and a better editor her stories could blow us all out of the water.

I thought the SAME thing "How cool is this cover"? & the name of the book drew me in too.

I had wondered why I kept pushing it down the TBR pile though.

I got the feeling the book looked cool outside but inside wasn't my cup o' pumpkin spice latte (my fave for the fall season) after I skimmed through and read a few bits and blurbs.

Good honest review. :)

Oh dear goodness if a book could really be anything like a pumpkin spice latte, I might marry it. Thanks for stopping by. I'm looking out for that giveaway :) ~Amanda
